Umbilical Chords / Circle Time

By Project 10-11-12: Walli Höfinger (Austria) & Teresa Brayshaw (UK)

Teresa and Walli.jpg

International GIFT Artist duo, Walli Höfinger and Teresa Brayshaw host a live closing event for GIFT 2022, which begins with a musical medley of their spoken word and song extracts from their forthcoming Album Umbilical Chords and concludes with a shared closing circle to mark and celebrate the official end of the festival. It’s a metaphorical call and response.

Invoking two of the Festival’s resonant themes of care and coupling, Walli and Teresa will facilitate a special moment for everyone to find and use their own voices and rekindle the collective encounter and shared joy of both giving and receiving the GIFT.
