Alongside all this digital stuff...we’re sometimes missing a bit of old fashioned magic, right?

Usually at GIFT we ask you to physically write down your thoughts, questions and ideas, over the course of the weekend, on little brown paper tickets. These small but beautiful personal fragments are then given to artists taking part in the festival.

This year, we didn’t want to lose that tactility...

So over the GIFT weekend, fabulous artists Adam York Gregory and Gillian Jane Lees of Telegram This will be using their trusty typewriters to capture your views and ideas (however weird and wonderful) and transform your digital thought bubbles into real-life, long-lasting letters and vivid archives.

You can send feedback to the festival, notes of encouragement to the artists, or even document some of the performances. An essay, a love letter or just a line, it would be great to hear from you.
