Meet the Festivals - WTF LAUNCH

Tune in on Saturday 1st May at 12.30pm with your lunch or brunch for the launch of the Wear and Tyne Festivals collective, a new network of independent festivals who have come together with the shared ambition to promote festival culture in North East England. 

Wear & Tyne Festivals (WTF) is a new collective of 8 Wear and Tyne based live performance festivals  - Curious Arts, GIFT, Harambee Pasadia, MAPS, Moving Parts, Summer 

Streets, TUSK and Vamos.

 

The WTF launch will be an opportunity to meet the faces behind the festivals, to ask questions, and to hear about plans for the future. 

Speakers for the WTF Launch includes Phil Douglas, Kate Craddock, Hannabiell Sanders, Yilis Surriel, Jilly Hargreaves, Kerrin Tatman, Ross Millard, Lee Etherington and Nik Barrera.

WTF Collective

Wear and Tyne Festivals Collective marks the coming together of a group of independent festivals working predominately across Sunderland, Newcastle, Gateshead, North and South Tyneside. 

Each festival brings a unique offer to the North East cultural scene, spanning experimental music, celebration of Spanish and Latin American culture, puppetry, LGBTQI+ culture and more.

Tickets are limited and Free and need to be booked in advance. GIFT welcomes donations over the 3 days of The GIFT Exchange.
