caravan assembly - an introduction
Farnham Maltings
The caravan assembly is Farnham Maltings’ biennial platform of new performance. It brings international programmers and England-based theatre artists together to develop new relationships.
Since its launch in 2008, we have presented over 200 artists to programmers and producers from every continent in the world.
Taking place as part of the Brighton Festival, the assembly is a 3-day event which includes a performance programme alongside a range of networking opportunities - whether that’s over a drink in the bar or through a facilitated 1-2-1 meeting.
Producers Fiona Baxter and Hannah Slimmon will talk through how the assembly is developing for 2022 and answer your questions on taking part.

Farnham Maltings
Farnham Maltings is a cultural organisation, based in Surrey, that works locally, nationally and internationally to encourage people to participate in, shape and understand the world in which we live.
The year-round caravan programme is designed to support theatre-makers, producers and arts organisations to think and work internationally. For independent theatre-makers and producers, caravan offers both international opportunities and the training needed to get the most out of them. For arts organisations, caravan curates’ events, visits and programmes with the aim of fostering international collaboration and understanding.
